Sidecar
Pierre Ferrand 1840 Cognac, Cointreau, Fresh Lemon Juice and Cane Sugar
The most popular and well-known cognac classic out there, the Sidecar is a great cocktail all around. It’s sweet and tart; booze-forward yet balanced. Our recipe aims to showcase the cognac, and enhance it with the Cointreau, lemon and sugar. Simple ingredients yield a fantastic result.
For optimal flavor/freshness, the lemon juice won't be added but instead we will give fresh lemons for you to juice before serving. (Instructions will be included to ensure the correct amount is added and the drink is constructed/kept/served accordingly.)
All drinks come pre-diluted; ready to be served without adding ice. (Not enough dilution and the drink won't taste its best. Too much dilution and the drink will be watered down.) Store in the fridge until ready to serve, add the lemon juice and shake well. We recommend serving this neat; up in a coupe glass with a sugared rim and garnished with a lemon twist.
