This 2008-born drink has quickly made it to top of the list. Made by Sam Ross, any good bartender will know what a Paper Plane is. This is a modern variation of the Last Word. In my opinion, this is an approachable drink into the Last Word family variations (such as the Final Ward, Naked and Famous). A beautiful balance between bitter, sour and herbal notes, the components of a Paper Plane come together for a lesson in flavor and balance. You can make this drink easily at home, too, since all ingredients are equal parts. The Amaro Nonino is the make-it-or-break-it of this concoction, and we bought this amaro just for the Paper Plane.

When serving, feel free to garnish with a paper plane.

All drinks come pre-diluted; ready to be served without chilling first. Store your cocktail in the fridge until you're thirsty and shake before serving. We recommend serving in a chilled coupe or Nick & Nora glass. Enjoy!
