Oaxaca Old-Fashioned by Phil Ward

British bartenders were making old-fashioneds with tequila way before us. Phil Ward created his version of the tequila old-fashioned in 2007 while working at Death & Co. in New York. This drink’s base spirit is tequila with only a half ounce of mezcal, making this a great introduction to those who haven’t/hadn’t tried mezcal yet.

The Oaxaca Old-Fashioned is an amazing variation; delicious and balanced. A lighter yet intricate cocktail you won't be disappointed with.

When serving, feel free to garnish with an orange peel; option to flame the peel if desired!

All drinks come pre-diluted ready to be served without chilling first. Store in the fridge until you thirsty and shake gently before serving. We recommend serving over a large whiskey cube. Enjoy!
