At 47.3% ABV, Tanqueray's high proof allows it to work well in many styles of cocktails. It also has a highly juniper-dominant flavor profile that makes it a great asset in a Negroni because it can cut through sweet and bitter flavors while asserting itself cleanly. The traditional Negroni is equal parts each, but we have increased the gin ratio to lessen the sweetness and create a more balanced cocktail.classic!
