Drink Dilution & Ice

Drink Dilution & Ice

A cocktail should be 30-40% water after proper dilution, which should go without saying that the water used is an important component. The ice the freezer makes: how "fresh" is it? Is there a filter?, and if so, when was the last time it was replaced? I have studied water for hours (nerd alert) and was ready to spend hundreds on a filtration system for my home. After all my research, I found that Zero water is a phenomenal filtration system. Fun fact: Brita and Pure don't filter out fluoride (this atomic element calcifies the pineal gland in the brain), but they are the most popular water filtration systems because of all the money they spend on advertising. Zero Water doesn't spend a ton of money on advertising, which makes this company very affordable. Zero Water takes out all the TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) from the water, hence the name, "Zero" Water. They even do a side-by-side comparison with the other "leading brands." Take a look

Why am I talking about water? Well, each Bottled Mixologist bottled cocktail comes pre-diluted. Why? (A) I use Zero water to dilute to ensure your drink is made with no TDS and drinks beautifully. And (B) I want your drink to be ready to drink right out of the bottle- no extra work- just pour into your chilled cocktail glass up or on the rocks and enjoy.

tl;dr: the ice you use matters!
